Happy 1 Year Leopard Couture + Giveaway!

Happy Friday everyone! Today I am celebrating my blog's 1 year anniversary!! I can't believe a year has passed since my very first post. It has been an incredible journey! I started my blog while on exchange in Tokyo, and I think it was one of the best decisions I have ever made! Blogging has definitely helped me figure out what direction I want to go with my career and life! I had many reasons behind starting Leopard Couture, including wanting to write about fashion trends and beauty tips, and sharing my personal style advice! Another reason being, I realized how amazing trying new styles of clothing was!! It opened up my mind to try new things and give everything a chance! I wanted to share this with all of you and I always encourage you to experiment with new trends and styles! I hope I have inspired some of you along the way with my posts!:)

I want to thank each and every one of you for your support, and taking the time to visit my blog!! It means so much to me! I appreciate all your comments and feedback, as I am always looking to improve and want to post things that you guys are interested in reading! 

I am so excited for what is still to come, I have so many new things planned for Leopard Couture!! I can't wait to share it with you all! Today’s Outfit Post: Black, White and Faux Fur 

For my 1 year outfit post, I thought it would be perfect to be dressed in a little leopard! My outfit is fairly new, as I did some shopping in Van 2 weekends ago. My faux fur coat is from F21, and I am obsessed with it!! It has a faux leather lining, and the gold zipper adds that touch of class! Plus it's super warm and soft, I never want to take it off! Believe it or not, the top is a 2-in-1, and is from LOFT. I really like LOFT, as it has some similar pieces to J.Crew, but a little more affordable! Back to the top..I have seen the trend of wearing a silk chiffon collared top w a cropped sweater a lot, and I have never considered it my style, but the minute I put it on I fell in love. (Where have you been all my life?! was my reaction). I think it is so professional looking, and can be easily dressed up or down. The fact that it is 1 shirt is a huge bonus- super easy to throw on! I definitely recommend giving this type of shirt a try! Also, can we take a second to admire ankle boots?! They are by far the top "must-have" shoe of the season! I wear mine all the time as they are so comfortable and stylish, and I love the cut outs!! They are by the brand Madden Girl by Steve Madden. I got them at the Shoe Company in Hillside Mall- check it out, they may have other similar styles! I am on the hunt for another pair at the moment, so let me know if you come across some cute ones!;) Just a tip, when you wear ankle boots, try cuffing your skinny jeans to show a tad of skin, it'll give you that street-style look;) To complete the outfit, I went for a bold lip..I'm addicted!!
